The series of lectures explains the biomechanical-physical background of the classical teaching, that is based on HDv12, the Principles for Riding and Driving, and the respective secondary literature (see references). When approached from the biomechanical viewpoint, the complete theoretical background of the classical teaching can be subdivided into three parts.
The following division of the series of lectures is recommendable:
1. Biomechanics part I: Focal point: the horizontal balance
2. Biomechanics part II: Focal point: the vertical balance, the biomechanics of
lateral movements, the biomechanics of the
neck and mouth (genick und maul)
3. Biomechanics part III: The biomechanics of movement disorder induced
through the rider
4. The judge between the poles of classical training philosophy and economy
The treatment of specialist subjects, for instance training of young horses, correction of problem horses, training of gaited horses and horses in other Arbeitsgleichgewichten, can be offered upon your request.
