My origin, my apprenticeship and my studies have been melting together during the last years of my professional activities.

In my profession, I try to implement a holistic view on the horse against the background of the horse’s needs in respect of its posture, training and medical necessities. In cases where no clear diagnosis can be made, it is inevitable to take a look at the horse under the saddle or even to ride it myself.

The quality of training as well as small daily mistakes can cause fundamental and serious consequences.

My work divides into three major areas:

1. Orthopaedic diagnostics and therapy of severe enduring lameness

2. Lectures: Biomechanics of riding horses

3. Training analysis and training of riding horses:

- correction of dysbalanced horses showing symptoms such as:

- general stiffness

- unwillingness of being ridden

- overflexion (nose behind the vertical) and running off

-  unwillingness of forward/backward movement

- verwerfen ,teeth grinding

- rearing up
